DC EVENT SERVICES LTD PRIVACY STATEMENT
This privacy notice describes how we collect and use personal information about you in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
DC EVENT SERVICES LTD is committed to a policy of protecting the rights and privacy of individuals (includes applicants, employees, customers, clients, and marketing purposes) in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998 and, from 25th May 2018, the EU General Data Protection Regulation. The law in this area is changing rapidly and we anticipate this statement may be revised in line with guidance from the Information Commissioners Office.
DC EVENT SERVICES LTD needs to process certain information about its employees and other individuals it has dealings with for administrative purposes (e.g. to recruit and pay employees, to administer programs of study, to record progress, to agree awards, to collect fees, and to comply with legal obligations and government). Personal Data for Employees and Applicants
DC EVENT SERVICES LTD is required to hold your personal data collected from both parties on initial application and on various forms throughout your employment and or application, for the below processes and procedures. By entering into out employment contract or submitting the application you are agreeing to the processing of your personal identifiable information.

- Employment and Personal References
- Unique personal identifiers and biographical information (e.g. date of birth)
- DBS
- SIA License checks as required
- Financial information gathered for the purpose of credit checks and payment
- Your visa requirements and any other documentation required to ensure compliance with Home Office requirements.
- Personnel files including next of kin, education and qualifications
- Uniform
- Training
- Fleet
- Holidays / Sickness
- Performance monitoring and reviews / Disciplinary, grievance and capability procedures
- Disclosure of limited information to clients when necessary

Personal Data – Suppliers / Clients
DC EVENT SERVICES LTD uses the information collected from you to provide quotations, make telephone contact and to email you in relation to the supply of services with or without contract. Data will also be used for contact information, to create invoices or notes of any transactions relating to the agreed service.
Some personal data may be collected about you from the forms and surveys you complete, from records or our correspondence and phone calls and details of your visits to our website, including but not limited to personally identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses; names; emails; telephone numbers and addresses.
Any information DC EVENT SERVICES LTD holds about you and your business encompasses all the details we hold about you and any sales transactions or sales/service enquiry or contract agreement, including any third-party information we have obtained about you from public sources and our own suppliers such as credit referencing agencies.

DC EVENT SERVICES LTD requires these parties to agree to process this information based on our instructions and requirements consistent with this privacy notice and GDPR.
DC EVENT SERVICES LTD do not broker or pass information gained from your engagement with agencies without your consent. However, DC EVENT SERVICES LTD may disclose your Personal Information to meet legal obligations, regulations, or valid government request.
Retention Policy
DC EVENT SERVICES LTD will process personal data during the duration of any contract and will continue to store only the personal data needed for a set number of years dependent on its processing purposes: –
• Employee – 6 years after leaving the company
• Employee application/recruitment (but not commenced employment) – 6 months
• Financial – 7 years after the last financial transaction
Data Storage
Data is held at the head office in Walkden using multiple servers. DC EVENTS SERVICES LTD does not store personal data outside the EEA.
Your rights as a data subject
Under the GDPR you have a number of important rights: –
• you have the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.
• you have a right to correct data that we hold about you that is inaccurate or incomplete
• In certain circumstances you can ask for the data we hold about you to be erased from our records.
• You have the right to object to the processing of personal information where we are processing your personal information for marketing purposes.
• You have the right to request the personal information to another party.
• You have the right not to be subject to the legal effects of automated processing or profiling
In the event of DC EVENT SERVICES LTD refuses your request under the rights of access, we will provide you with a reason as to why, which you have the right to legally challenge.
To access what personal data is held, identification will be required, DC EVENT SERVICES LTD will accept a minimum of one piece of identification of the following: national insurance card, passport, driving license, birth certificate and a utility bill no older than three months.
